Not sure how I feel about it yet. I kinda liked the older one (left icon in the image below).

One good thing: It looks like there's now a "doorknob" icon (far right in the image below) that shows when pages are visited through G+, rather than the same G+ icon that seemed to appear before. The doorknob icon is kinda ugly though, too.
