Web Hosting
I’ve been writing a lot of emails and talking to friends and colleagues these days regarding my web hosting. To save time and also to gather all the information in one place, I’ve posted all the facts here!
Subdomain Hosting – $15/yearCurrently, I am in the process of building a networking site for local talent. Most of the site will link to external websites of Multimedia/Graphic Designers, Illustrators, Writers and Musicians.
It is ImaginaryTree.com
For a small fee, you can have your own ImaginaryTree.com website (& email). For instance, artsloth.imaginarytree.com
Traditional Hosting – $30/yr – $60/yr – $120/yr

I am not looking to make web hosting my primary business. I am doing this to facilitate the setup of WordPress sites/databases for my clients, as well as augment the cost of my own service, (I have 3 websites that I host as a gift to my family, so it made sense for me to get a web hosting plan.) I know the cPanel interface and can work efficiently within it.
I mention this because I am keeping the hosting small enough for me to handle, and want you to be aware that I am committed to making sure that your website and email are 99.9% functional along the way and this is not a hobby for me. If there are any questions or difficulties along the way, I am committed to making sure that you’re happy. I’m in this for the long haul.
The company who holds the machine that I’m hosting from is jtlnet.com (By the way, they charge $7.50/month for 1 GB – still a great deal, but slightly more than I charge.) They’ve been in business for over 10 years, so they’re not going anywhere soon. I’ve had my jeanegan.com account hosted with them for at least 6 years now. I appreciate that my site and email have been functional 99.9% of the time. When I’ve had technical questions or updates, they’ve handled everything in a timely, professional fashion. (within hours – sometimes minutes!) If we encounter any difficulties that I am not experienced to handle, I can always call upon them to help.
I have enough room to host about twelve total 1 GB websites, (or twenty four 512 MB sites, as it’s seeming to go – nobody really needs even 512 MB of space.) If you or any friends want reliable and feature filled web hosting, I would love to help fellow artists and small business owners out by offering affordable web hosting.
There you have it. If you are interested, drop me an email and we can get you set up immediately.
