I’m probably to the point where nobody cares anymore, but I watched the Rocky Horror Picture Show last night – on blueray. My eyes are burned out with lusty transvestites in high definition!

+Christy Ramsey – I thought you might appreciate this plugin.

Simple – yet I'm overjoyed to have found a Fetch preference solved my issue.
Simple – yet I'm overjoyed to have found a Fetch preference solved my issue.
It's been driving me crazy. When I remotely access/edit a file, I would often got a document encoding mismatch. I thought the preference I needed to change would have been in my text editing program (bbedit), so I was going crazy for months because I couldn't set the preferred encoding to Unicode (UTF-8) effectively from within there.
One last ditch effort today, I found a year-old forum where someone suggested looking for a fetch preference – and VOILA – no more errors. Horray!
I wanted to thank the person, but dragging up old threads on a forum is often bad form, so I just wrote them an email. Wonder if they'll think it's spam?
