How to deal with the •••••••• field

I mean, the Password field.

This is great! I wish it were supported in Internet Explorer. Maybe IE 30 will support HTML5.

  1. +Jean Egan I've added a polyfill for placeholders in pure-CSS before… Trying to find it now. :)

    I'll let you know if I remember where the file is buried, since I can't seem to reproduce it.

    Would love to see – yea, these seem to do OK, but IE's non-support of HTML5 is frustrating, to say the least.

  4. A tip: disregard IE8 and earlier whenever possible.

    Just sayin'. :P

  5. Or trigger users to install Chrome Frame. After all, most IE users are accustomed to installing plugins all the time. </halfsnark>
