My husband and I were just having a discussion of how amazing two man bands are. (or man and woman) To listen to them, you may not guess it's just 2 people.

White Stripes, Local H, Red Blood Shoes ~

Which reminded me of the following Cigo Man Band (One Man Band) from Croatia. If you haven't seen him, check it out. Both my husband and I agreed we'd gladly dump the contents of our respective wallets into his donation bag.

This video makes me happy :)

I don't meet many people who know who Local H is, much less would know they were a 2-person band! :)  I'd have to add Tenacious D to the list of duos, and I would argue Nine Inch Nails to be considered a 1-person band (only has band members when on tour), and thus my favorite solo act.

Well, I have to admit – I only knew of the White Stripes on that list. My husband is the one who knew of the other two. He's very open with new music, and I often learn of new music through him. We also talked about NIN!

You're so right about Tenacious D! I forgot about them!

    (we forgot about them.)

  4. Soul Whirling Somewhere is a favorite one man act of mine.

I just listened to The Suicide Prevention Hotline and like it. Do you have a favorite song by him?

That sounds optimistic! Oh wait – listening now – I remember you sharing this one with me before, I think. It sounds familiar, but I don't recall knowing what it was saying. Maybe it was just another song by them. I like it.
