I completely, completely agree with this article

Where is the real problem in the entertainment industry? OLD BUSINESS MODELS. Give people what they want – and they're happy to pay. Treat paying customers like criminals and more piracy happens.

This reminds me of another business model that got left behind: How many of us have purchased a full set of printed encyclopedias recently? NOBODY!

While going door to door, encyclopedia salesmen kept hearing from people ask "Can I get that on a CD?"

Their answer was "No".

Their sales were dwindling – the salespeople were passing the word on to their business what customers wanted, but the business did not listen because they did not want to lose their print sales.

Guess what?

They ended up losing ALL sales!
